This role will have a starting salary of £18,810
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

The Role

As a level 3 Manufacturing Machinist Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in participating in ad-hoc technical projects and carry out (under limited supervision) with specialist engineering maintenance; primarily for key site projects and programmes but the role regularly diversifies into supporting other areas beyond Culham site as required by the wider UKAEA activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Complete national academic qualification as defined by the apprenticeship training standard: Mechatronics Maintenance Technician / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
- Attend designated training provider, develop and attain a good knowledge of technical skills.
- Represent the UKAEA Organisation and attend external outreach and careers events.
