This role will have a starting salary of £20,319
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.
UKAEA's Apprenticeship Scheme will allow you to gain the technical knowledge, practical experience and wider skills and behaviours needed for your immediate job role and future career. The successful apprentice will gain this through the combination of formal off-the-job training and the opportunity to apply these skills in a real work environment through on-the-job training.

As Fusion Outreach apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and organising many elements of UKAEA’s growing education and public outreach activities, for example science festival attendance, visits from public, schools and university groups and careers fairs. You will have an opportunity to engage with multiple groups, in a fast moving and varied landscape. A confident, organised and flexible individual is sought to support the wider outreach team in this vital work, as fusion enters a new delivery era.
Additional Responsibilities:

- Attend designated training provider, develop and attain a good knowledge of technical skills.
- Represent the UKAEA Organisation and attend external outreach and careers events.
