We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating work. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on design choices.
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner, following health and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled work.
Experience
- Proven experience in painting and decorating is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship are crucial for success in this role.
- Role would suit an apprentice looking to further their career in the trade.
