Compressed Air and Vacuum Technician - Apprenticeship
3 Year Apprenticeship Duration
East London
Up to £20,000 pa + Overtime + Full Training + Progression
Excellent role for an ambitious young engineer who is looking for the opportunity to start a long and rewarding career. The apprenticeship will last a duration of 3 years with a view to becoming a long-term valued member of our engineering team.
The apprenticeship standard has been produced by the BCAS (British Compressed Air Society) trailblazer group where industry experts from the BCAS membership worked alongside the Institute for Apprenticeship and Technical Education.
The apprenticeship is a mix of off the job training (20%) and on the job training (80%). Off the job training will be administered via VLE at our premises and backed up by on the job training delivered by our talented engineering team.

Your apprenticeship will operate as follows;
- 1 day per week college (remote learning at our premises)
- 2-3 days per week working with our engineers in the field gaining hands-on, on the job experience and training
- 1-2 days per week working at our workshop working/training under instruction from the engineering and servicing team
Your development will also include training from manufacturers & third-party service providers as part of our continuous development framework.

In the role you will be working as a team and independently to perform the preparation, installation, maintenance, fault finding and repair works on electromechanical equipment. These works will be completed both at our workshop and at our customer sites.
This role will suit anyone with a mechanical or electrical background who are hungry to learn and driven to succeed in a field based engineering role.
The Person:
- Trainee with mechanical or electrical background
- ICT Literate
- Maths & English at GCSE Grade C or above
- Passion to learn and develop

- Full driving licence or in the process of learning
