Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist lawyers in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and managing case files. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as required.
Manage schedules for attorneys, including appointments and court dates.
Utilise office software to create reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.

Skills

Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficient in office software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication abilities in English, both written and verbal.
Highly organised with a keen attention to detail.
Basic IT skills to navigate legal databases and online research tools.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
