Apprentice Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team in the Southern region! This full‑time, four‑year apprenticeship is a hands‑on opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople while working with a wide range of diesel and petrol-powered equipment used across our operations.

What you’ll do

Assist with servicing, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines, generators, outboards, and machinery
Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements
Support the upkeep of heavy vehicles, vessels, and aquaculture equipment
Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues and apply safe work practices
Participate in training, mentoring, and apprenticeship coursework
Work as part of a team to keep equipment running efficiently

What you’ll bring

Minimum Year 10 (Year 12 preferred)
Interest in mechanics and hands‑on work
Willingness to start trade qualifications and attend training
Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
Reliable, safety‑focused, and keen to learn
