Stores & Logistics Apprentice

Location: Go-Ahead London
Salary: £505.94 per week (38-hour week)
Qualification: Advanced Modern Apprenticeship Level 2 in Customer Service Practitioner with Parts

Are you passionate about the automotive industry and want to work with the latest technologies? Go-Ahead London is looking for motivated individuals to join our Stores & Logistics Apprenticeship program. Our buses operate 24/7 across the capital, and the role of the stores team is essential in keeping them running efficiently.

As an Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience while learning about stock control, logistics, and parts operations. You’ll receive on-the-job training in our procurement offices and garages, working alongside experienced colleagues. Plus, you’ll receive formal training at your workplace through our partnership with a local college.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Managing stock levels to ensure buses are always ready for service
Communicating with suppliers and internal teams to source and deliver essential parts
Conducting stock checks and ensuring the store is well organised
Using computer systems to track and manage inventory
Handling materials.
Training at our designated College online and in the workplace.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong motivation to learn and a keen interest in the automotive industry
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Computer literacy and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence or evidence of working toward one.
Requirement to travel and work at all Go Ahead London sites..
